GTA 6 Grassrivers Map
Grassrivers is GTA 6’s swamp region, Rockstar’s version of the Everglades in the south-west of Leonida. Rockstar’s Grassrivers page calls it a primordial wetland where gators are the famous draw, but hints at deadlier predators and stranger finds among the mangroves. The swamp itself is mostly empty on the community map so far, so this page also shows the towns at its edge: Hamlet and Peregrine Bay.
What Rockstar says about Grassrivers
Rockstar describes Grassrivers as wetlands where you never know what lies under the surface. Alligators are the headline, and the page teases more dangerous wildlife and odd discoveries in the mangroves. Rockstar names no towns inside Grassrivers. Preview coverage says hunting returns in GTA 6, but Rockstar’s own page does not tie it to Grassrivers, so we do not either.

Why Grassrivers looks empty on the map
The community map is built from places that can be seen and identified in official trailers and screenshots. Swamps have few signs and buildings, so Grassrivers has far fewer pins than Vice City. That will change at launch, when animals, hunting spots, airboat routes and collectibles can be checked in the game. We add them here from November 19, 2026, and the tracker picks them up in every save.

Big dots with a white ring are official: named or shown by Rockstar, each with its source. Small dots come from the V17 community map and the GTADB landmarks map (gtadb.org, CC BY 4.0), where mappers place buildings seen in the official footage. Grassrivers FAQ
Is Grassrivers the Everglades?
It is Rockstar’s version of it. Rockstar does not name the Everglades, but the wetlands, mangroves and alligators match, and the community map places Grassrivers in the south-west where the Everglades would be.

In the south-west of Leonida, between Vice City’s southern suburbs and the Gulf coast, north of the Leonida Keys.
What is in Grassrivers?
Rockstar highlights alligators, other dangerous wildlife and the mangrove swamp. The community map has placed a visitor center inside it and the town of Hamlet at its edge.
Are there alligators in GTA 6?
Yes. Rockstar’s Grassrivers page names gators as the region’s best-known residents, and they appear in the official trailers.
